30th Day of the Omer
Be aware, watchful of a stranger on his way: he may have just shown you a path that you might never have taken otherwise. Everything and everyone in our lives are part of our journey. The quest for a spiritual life is in finding the connections in the beautiful tapestry of our life, noticing how the gold thread meets the blue thread to form the perfect picture. Through the perspective of a spiritual journey, there is no chance crossing. Everything has meaning.
Rabbi Karyn D. Kedar, God Whispers
Baruch Ata Adonai Elo-hei-nu me-lech ha-olam a-sher ke-d-sha-nu b- mitz-vo-tav, v-tzi-va-nu al s-fi-rat ha-omer.
Praised be you Adonai our God who rules the Universe instilling within us the holiness of mitzvot by commanding us to count the Omer.
Today is the thirtieth day – four weeks and two days of the Omer.
