29th Day of the Omer
We count seven weeks of the Omer. May this fifth week stir our imagination. Let us imagine that the positive choices overshadow the ones that lead us astray. Imagine yourself the person you yearn to be.
Have an expansive and abundant way of seeing the world. See the invisible. Live with possibility and vision. See ourselves as a miracle, a daily revelation of goodness. We are only limited by our imagination. And what if that were true? Where would your imagination lead you? What magnificence might you manifest?
Rabbi Karyn D. Kedar, from Omer: A Counting
Baruch Ata Adonai Elo-hei-nu me-lech ha-olam a-sher ke-d-sha-nu b- mitz-vo-tav, v-tzi-va-nu al s-fi-rat ha-omer.
Praised be you Adonai our God who rules the Universe instilling within us the holiness of mitzvot by commanding us to count the Omer.
Today is the twenty-ninth day – four weeks and one day of the Omer.
