Today is the thirty-ninth day – five weeks and four days of the Omer.

Pursue the life that you wish to live. Be impatient with mediocrity. Do not abide sustained boredom. Care. Tell the children that they are created in the image of God. Tell them often. Be still enough to listen to your heart. Read. Practice obedience cautiously. Stand for something. Create. Make the following declaration: I will search for God. I will not betray my life’s calling.

Baruch Ata Adonai Elo-hei-nu me-lech ha-olam a-sher ke-d-sha-nu b- mitz-vo-tav, v-tzi-va-nu al s-fi-rat ha-omer.
