Today is the first day of the Omer.

Come with me… let us count the days ahead, each one considered, each one light upon the dawn, humble, tenderly revealing an inner light, strength, the courage to live. These days are filled with power. They offer an archetype, the path from enslavement to freedom, darkness to light, and constriction to expanse. So much life and love swirl within our dreams. How we yearn to be brave, to find our way around obstacles, to have faith, to run toward the future fortified with hope, to not fear the wilderness of uncertainty! So much possibility. As we grow, we deepen. And as we deepen, we stretch. And as we stretch, our capacity for love expands, healing us. And as we heal, we are compelled to heal the world. Come with me… let us count 49 days, let us make our days count.
