Today is the fourth day of the Omer.

Live your life as if it were a command, an imperative from some great and mighty force that demands that your time and attention not be squandered. This is what is called living fearlessly, for shallowness, apathy, and boredom take over our lives when we become meek and forgetful. So remember, you were born for greatness, and the world is in desperate need of your loving attention.

Rabbi Karyn Kedar, Omer: A Counting

Baruch Ata Adonai Elo-hei-nu me-lech ha-olam a-sher ke-d-sha-nu b- mitz-vo-tav, v-tzi-va-nu al s-fi-rat ha-omer.

Praised be you Adonai our God who rules the Universe instilling within us the holiness of mitzvot by commanding us to count the Omer. Today is the fourth day of the Omer.
